Low‐frequency noise fingerprints in hafnia ferroelectrics provide a quantitative handle to resolve the long‐standing debate between polarization‐mediated and defect‐mediated switching. By tuning oxygen vacancy density via ALD O3 dose time and applying a physically constrained deconvolution, we extract bias‐resolved current fractions for both mechanisms

Background: The median effective analgesic concentration (MEAC) of ropivacaine in interscalene brachial plexus block (ISBPB) for postoperative analgesia after arthroscopic rotator cuff repair (ARCR) has not been determined. Therefore, this study aimed to

It is currently not well understood how cells regulate basic properties, e.g., volume and mechanics within dense multicellular environments like tumors. Here, we show that different cell types of cancer and also normal cells largely decrease their nuclear and cellular volumes in emerging cell clusters and that this is partly driven by cell cycle shifts.

The Cox proportional hazards (PH) model is widely used because it models the covariates to the hazard through a log-linear effect. However, exploring flexible effects becomes desirable within the Cox PH framework when only a monotonic relationship ...

Abstract This study develops and empirically estimates a structural framework to decompose the causal pathways of multilevel behavioral interventions targeting adolescent health behaviors. We apply this framework to the Kids SIPsmartER (KSS) program, a 6‐month, school‐based intervention evaluated through a clustered randomized controlled trial in rural

cgam: An R Package for the Constrained Generalized Additive Model
The cgam package contains routines to fit the generalized additive model where the components may be modeled with shape and smoothness assumptions. The main routine is cgam and nineteen symbolic routines are provided to indicate the relationship between ...

ABSTRACT Background The indication for nasal irrigation with corticosteroids after sinus surgery in patients with Chronic Rhinosinusitis with Nasal Polyps (CRSwNP) is well established, as surgery facilitates distribution throughout the sinonasal cavity.
