The continuing significance of chiral agrochemicals

open access: yesPest Management Science, Volume 81, Issue 4, Page 1697-1716, April 2025.
In the time frame 2018–2023, around 43% of the 35 chiral agrochemicals introduced to the market (herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, acaricides, and nematicides) contain one or more stereogenic centers in the molecule, and almost 69% of them have been marketed as racemic mixtures of enantiomers or stereoisomers.

Pharmacology and toxicology of veterinary isoxazolines: a review

open access: yesInternational Journal for Parasitology: Drugs and Drug Resistance
Isoxazoline derivatives have rapidly become cornerstone ectoparasiticides in veterinary medicine, providing high efficacy and long-lasting protection against fleas, ticks, and other arthropods in companion animals and, more recently, in food-producing ...

Efficacy of fluralaner against canine generalized demodicosis

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Veterinary Medicine, 2019
Demodicosis is a parasitic dermatopathy, resulting from the excessive proliferation of Demodex mites. The rate at which this disease is encountered in the pet clinic is high, despite recent advances in the treatment of the disease. The aim of this study,

Δ2-ISOXAZOLINE DERIVATIVES AS ANTIMICROBIALS [PDF]

open access: yesHeterocyclic Communications, 2006
The inhibitory effect of newly synthesized C- (anthranyl and biphenyl)-5-substituted-I´2-isoxazolines were characterized by IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and CHN anal. and evaluated for their antimicrobial activity against different strains. Strains such as Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas fluorescens, Xanthomonas campestris pvs., Xanthomonas ...

Functional Characterization of the Cat and Dog Wild‐Type and Mutant MDR1 Carrier Proteins and Frequency of the MDR1 Gene Mutation in 800 Cats From Germany

open access: yesJournal of Veterinary Pharmacology and Therapeutics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The ATP‐binding cassette transporter MDR1 P‐glycoprotein (syn. ABCB1) is an efflux carrier at the cell membrane that regulates drug absorption, distribution, and elimination. At the blood–brain barrier, MDR1 restricts brain entry of potentially neurotoxic drugs, such as ivermectin. In dogs and cats, MDR1 (syn.

Spatial Control Over Tether‐Tunable Coordination on Palladium for Divergent Synthesis of Bicyclo[n.1.0]alkanes via Oxidative Cyclopropanation of Enynes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 19, 2 April 2026.
We have developed a Pd‐catalyzed oxidative cyclopropanation of 1,n‐enynes employing cyclic diacyl peroxides as bifunctional reagents that serve as both tether‐tunable oxidants and spatially controlled dicarboxylate anions. ABSTRACT Bicyclo[n.1.0]alkanes are highly valuable scaffolds in drug discovery and synthetic chemistry.

Syntheses and Characterizations of Some New N-alkyl, Isoxazole and Dioxazole Derivatives of 5-Chloroisatin [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
N-alkyl and cycloadducts derivatives of 5-Chloroisatin were synthesized in good to excellent yields. The method evidences a selective N-alkylation when using 1,2-bis (2-chloroethoxy) ethane as efficient spacer at room temperature on the 5-Chloroisatin ...

Efficacy of Der f 2/Zen 1‐LAMP1 Plasmid‐Based Vaccine Immunotherapy in Dogs With Atopic Dermatitis: A Proof‐of‐Concept Study

open access: yesVeterinary Dermatology, Volume 37, Issue 2, Page 306-318, April 2026.
Background: DNA‐based vaccination rapidly induces strong cellular and humoral immune responses, which may be enhanced by inclusion of lysosomal‐associated membrane protein‐1 (LAMP). Objectives: This proof‐of‐concept study evaluated the efficacy and safety of a Der f 2/Zen 1‐LAMP‐based DNA vaccine immunotherapy in client‐owned dogs with nonseasonal AD ...

Synthesis of highly functionalized β-aminocyclopentanecarboxylate stereoisomers by reductive ring opening reaction of isoxazolines

open access: yesBeilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2012
A rapid and simple procedure was devised for the synthesis of multifunctionalized cyclic β-amino esters and γ-amino alcohols via the 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of nitrile oxides to β-aminocyclopentenecarboxylates.

Inverse electron-demand 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of nitrile oxide with common nitriles leading to 3-functionalized 1,2,4-oxadiazoles [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
A carbamoyl-substituted nitrile oxide was generated upon treatment of easily available 2-methyl-4-nitro-3-isoxazolin-5(2H)-one with THF (not dried); the reaction proceeded efficiently even in the absence of any special reagents and reaction conditions ...
