We tested the oomycide oxathiapiprolin as a protective and curative agent against kauri dieback disease (caused by Phytophthora agathidicida) in Agathis australis seedlings. Protective application of oxathiapiprolin (10 or 50 mg per seedling) effectively prevented disease, but it did not cure existing infections.
