CD8+ Tissue‐Resident Memory T Cells in Health and Disease
CD8+ TRM cells are at the center of immunity, mediating potent local innate and adaptive immune responses. While TRM cells mediate protective immunity against infections and tumors, they also contribute to pathological inflammation in autoimmune conditions.

The extracellular matrix (ECM) is a dynamic scaffold that orchestrates tissue architecture and cellular communication. A critical but underexplored interplay between proteases and cluster of differentiation molecules (CD) governs ECM turnover and directs cell fate.

The Role of the Transcription Factor KLF2 in Vascular Development and Disease
The zinc-finger transcription factor KLF2 transduces the physical forces exerted by blood flow into molecular signals responsible for a wide range of biological responses. Following its initial recognition as a flow-responsive endothelial transcription factor, KLF2 is now known to be expressed in a range of cell types and to participate in a number of ...

E10.5 FVB/N KLF2−/− but not mix KLF2−/− embryos have erythroid cells outside of the dorsal aortas.
(A) is a light micrograph (100X) of the FVB/N WT E10.5 dorsal aortas (DA). Erythroid cells (Ery) are found only within the aortas. (B) FVB/N KLF2−/− have a number of erythroid cells in tissue surrounding the DA.

Homeostatic effects of exosomal KLF2 microRNAs: implications for treatment of pulmonary hypertension [PDF]
Background. Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is a severe disorder leading to right heart failure. Recently identified disabling mutations in shear stress-activated transcription factor Krüppel-like factor 2 (KLF2) in hereditary PAH suggest its ...

ABSTRACT This prospective observational study investigated whether systolic blood pressure variability (SBPV) during the transitional care period predicts long‐term outcomes after coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). We enrolled 120 consecutive patients undergoing isolated CABG between 2020 and 2024 in a structured Transitional Care Service System ...

Lymphocyte quiescence factor Dpp2 is transcriptionally activated by KLF2 and TOB1 [PDF]
We have shown previously that dipeptidyl peptidase 2 (DPP2) activity is essential for the survival of quiescent, but not activated, lymphocytes. The specific requirement of DPP2 activity for non-dividing cells is indicative of cell cycle specific regulation of this gene product.

Rapamycin induced mRNA and protein expression of KLF2 in HUVECs.
Rapamycin was added to HUVECs at concentrations of 2, 20, 200 and 2000 ng/ml for 24 and 48 hours. KLF2 was assessed by real-time PCR, western blot and immunofluorescence assays. Each bar represented the mean±SD (n = 3).

KLF2 binding to the AQP1 promoter.
HUVECs were transduced with control virus (white) or lentivirus encoding V5-tagged KLF2 (black). Immunoprecipitation was performed using an anti-V5 tag antibody.
