Global properties of the HI distribution in the outer Milky Way
Aims: We derive the 3-D HI volume density distribution for the Galactic disk out to R = 60 kpc. Methods: Our analysis is based on parameters for the warp and rotation curve derived previously.

PDAC has a poor prognosis due to chemoresistance. We revealed that MCU upregulation is associated with chemoresistance and stemness in PDAC. MCU‐mediated Ca2+ influx induced ER stress, activating the PERK‐ATF4/NRF2 axis to enhance PSAT1/SLC711 expression and glutathione synthesis, reducing ROS and maintaining stemness.

Discovery of Radio Emission from the Quasar SDSS J1536+0441, a Candidate Binary Black-Hole System
The radio-quiet quasar SDSS J1536+0441 shows two broad-line emission systems that Boroson & Lauer interpret as a candidate binary black-hole system with a separation of 0.1 pc (0.02 mas). From new VLA imaging at 8.5 GHz, two faint sources, separated by 0.

Stellar structures in the outer regions of M33 [PDF]
We present Subaru/Suprime-Cam deep V and I imaging of seven fields in the outer regions of M33. Our aim is to search for stellar structures corresponding to extended HI clouds found in a recent 21-cm survey of the galaxy.

This study integrates multi‐omics to reveal the critical role of UBE2T in driving malignancy and stromal co‐evolution in PDAC. UBE2T potentiates glycolysis by regulating p53 degradation via a positive feedback loop, thereby promoting histone H3 lysine 18 lactylation in CAFs and stromal deposition. The UBE2T inhibitor PGG represents a potential strategy

Carbapenem resistance in gram-negative pathogens in an Iranian hospital: high prevalence of OXA-type carbapenemase genes [PDF]
Background The widespread dissemination of carbapenem-resistant gram-negative bacteria poses a significant threat to global public health. Purpose This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of carbapenem resistance in gram-negative bacteria isolated ...

The Orbit of the Orphan Stream [PDF]
We use recent SEGUE spectroscopy and SDSS and SEGUE imaging data to measure the sky position, distance, and radial velocities of stars in the tidal debris stream that is commonly referred to as the "Orphan Stream." We fit orbital parameters to the data ...
