Diagnosing Kudoa Thyrsites (Myxozoa: Myxosporea) Infections in Fish
2002The genus Kudoa (Myxozoa: Myxosporea) is comprised of at least 44 species that infect marine fishes worldwide (Moran et al. 1999b). Several Kudoa spp. are parasites of the musculature of commercially important fish species and are, therefore, of considerable concern to retailers of fish products.
