PREPARATION OF L-ASPARTIC ACID BY BACTERIAL ASPARTASE
(1) 強力なアスパーターゼを持つことが知られている二,三の菌種と当研究所保存の菌種,合わせて30余株からアスパーターゼの最も強力と思われたEscherichia coli No. 2を選び,アスパーターゼの若干の性質を検討した. (2) アスパーターゼはフマール酸ソーダ塩及びアンモニウム塩の飽和溶液(各々遊離酸として前者約10%,後着約20%)に於ても反応させ得ることが分り,更に50g/100m1ものフマール酸アンモニウム懸濁液に, E. coli No. 2の乾燥菌体を添加, 37°, pH7.2~7.4にて攪拌を続け1乃至3日間に,フマール酸をほぼ定量的にL-アスパラギン酸に変えることが出来た.
