surfactant-induced crystallisation of DI-aspartic acid [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
Crystallisation of dl-aspartic acid beneath monolayers at the air-water interface was studied using seven different monolayer films namely stearic acid, methyl stearate, o-octadceyl carbonyl-l-tyrosine methyl ester hydrochloride, polycaprolactone, poly-1-

BIODEGRADABILITY AND TISSUE REACTION OF RANDOM COPOLYMERS OF L-LEUCINE, L-ASPARTIC ACID, AND L-ASPARTIC ACID-ESTERS [PDF]

open access: yes, 1977
A series of copoly(α-amino acids) with varying percentages of hydrophilic (l-aspartic acid) and hydrophobic monomers (l-leucine, ß-methyl-l-aspartate, and ß-benzyl-l-aspartate) were implanted subcutaneously in rats and the macroscopic degradation ...

Basic studies for continuous production of L-aspartic acid by immobilized Escherichia coli cells.

open access: yesApplied microbiology, 1974
By using a column packed with immobilized Escherichia coli cells entrapped in a polyacrylamide gel lattice, conditions for continuous production of L-aspartic acid from ammonium fumarate were investigated. When a solution of 1 M ammonium fumarate (pH 8.5)

Positively Charged Polymer‐Brush MOFs for Large‐Area, Pressure‐Resistant Gas Separation Membranes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A universal POPA strategy enables positively charged polymer‐brush MOFs with self‐adaptive interfacial interlocking to resist aggregation under fast processing. This design ensures seamless dispersion within large‐area selective layers, achieving 1 m‐wide roll‐to‐roll fabrication of pressure‐resistant MMCMs with tunable CO2 separation performance ...

A Bifunctional T3SS‐Effector Simultaneously Cleaves Host MAP Kinase and Inhibits PPM1A Phosphatase

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Pathogenic bacteria exploit the metalloprotease effector NleD to subvert host defenses. Structural, biochemical, and infection analyses reveal a bifunctional mechanism by which NleD binds and inhibits the host phosphatase PPM1A while preserving its proteolytic activity against MAPKs.
