The Cloud Point Behaviors and the Liquid–Liquid Equilibrium of L31—Inorganic Sodium Salt Aqueous Two-Phase Systems

open access: yesJournal of Dispersion Science and Technology, 2019
The cloud point (CP) of triblock-copolymer L31 aqueous solution was determined with salting-out salts (Na2SO4/Na2CO3/NaF/NaCl/NaBr). The results show that all these salts can decrease the CP of L31 aqueous solution and form aqueous two-phase system (ATPS). With increasing concentrations of Na2SO4 and Na2CO3, an obvious phase inversion could be observed

Resistance-Associated Substitutions (RAS) and Clinical Factors as Determinants of Sofosbuvir-Daclatasvir Treatment Outcomes in Chronic Hepatitis C Patients

open access: yesActa Medica Indonesiana
Background: Direct acting antivirals (DAAs) have demonstrated remarkable efficacy, in achieving hepatitis C viral (HCV) elimination rates higher than 90%. One particular concern associated with treatment failure is the emergence of resistance associated

Translation in Bacillus subtilis is spatially and temporally coordinated during sporulation

open access: yesNature Communications
The transcriptional control of sporulation in Bacillus subtilis is reasonably well understood, but its translational control is underexplored. Here, we use RNA-seq, ribosome profiling and fluorescence microscopy to study the translational dynamics of B ...
