Outflows and winds launched from young stars play a crucial role in the evolution of protostars and the early stages of planet formation. However, the specific details of the mechanism behind these phenomena, including how they affect the protoplanetary ...

Separation of Variables. New Trends.
The review is based on the author's papers since 1985 in which a new approach to the separation of variables (\SoV) has being developed. It is argued that \SoV, understood generally enough, could be the most universal tool to solve integrable models of ...

Cooperative production and efficiency [PDF]
We characterize the sharing rule for which a contribution mechanism achieves efficiency in a cooperative production setting when agents are heterogeneous. The sharing rule bears no resemblance to those considered by the previous literature.

ABSTRACT High temperatures significantly accelerate the timing of floral transition, namely, bolting and flowering, in lettuce, which results in severe loss of marketable yield. Thus, understanding the genetic regulation of floral transition is of great interest to plant biologists and lettuce breeders.

Super Yangian Y(osp(1|2)) and the Universal R-matrix of its Quantum Double
We present the Drinfel'd realisation of the super Yangian Y(osp(1|2)), including the explicit expression for the coproduct. We show in particular that it is necessary to introduce supplementary Serre relations.

Abstract figure legend Preglomerular pericyte‐like SMMHC+ vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) display marked endocrine plasticity. Hypotension caused by salt depletion and angiotensin‐converting enzyme (ACE) inhibition induces a reversible transformation of these VSMCs toward an endocrine state that produces renin.

Mechanistic Kinetic Modeling of the Selective Methanol Oxidation Based on Christiansen Mathematics
The article provides a mechanistic description of reaction rates for the selective methanol oxidation to green oxygenates. For this, a detailed reaction mechanism is provided based on catalytic cycles. The catalytic cycles are translated into mechanistic rate expressions using Christiansen mathematics.

Are lepton flavor mixings in the democratic mass matrix stable against quantum corrections? [PDF]
We investigate whether the lepton flavor mixing angles in the so-called democratic type of mass matrix are stable against quantum corrections or not in the minimal supersymmetric standard model with dimension five operator which induces neutrino mass ...
