Comparison of antibacterial and antioxidant potentials of pure and nanoemulsified Nepeta pogonosperma essential oil

4aa,7a,7aß‐Nepetalactone (46.31%) was the main compounds of Nepeta essential oil. Nanoemulsion of Nepeta essential oil was prepared by ultrasonication. The nanoemulsion maintains its bioactivity over time. The antibacterial activity of the Nepeta nanoemulsion was better than the essential oil.
