Prenatal Diagnosis of Congenital Lymphocytic Choriomeningitis Virus Infection: A Case Report
Lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus (LCMV) is an emerging neuroteratogen which can infect humans via contact with urine, feces, saliva, or blood of infected rodents.

Both Systemic and Mucosal LCMV Immunization Generate Robust Viral-Specific IgG in Mucosal Secretions, But Elicit Poor LCMV-Specific IgA [PDF]
Immunoglobulins in secretions play a critical role in protection at mucosal surfaces. We examined the generation of viral-specific IgG and IgA in plasma and mucosal secretions of mice following systemic or mucosal immunization with lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus (LCMV), a widely used experimental model of viral infection.

The JAK/STAT Pathway in Cancer: From Molecular Mechanisms to Clinical Applications
Dysregulated JAK/STAT signaling and related genetic mutations are strongly associated with cancer progression, including promoting tumor proliferation, suppressing apoptosis, inducing immune suppression, participating in drug resistance. Based on the function of the JAK/STAT pathway in disease pathogenesis, numerous agents targeting the JAK/STAT ...

Lymphocytic Choriomeningitis Virus–associated Meningitis, Southern Spain
Lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus (LCMV) was detected in 2 patients with acute meningitis in southern Spain within a 3-year period. Although the prevalence of LCMV infection was low (2 [1.3%] of 159 meningitis patients), it represents 2.9% of all ...

Abstract Aims To identify the brain activity profiles associated with alcohol consumption and to address its causes. Furthermore, we sought to examine the relationship between these electrophysiological markers and the excitation–inhibition balance, as well as to explore the potential moderating role of sex in these associations.

A non-Gaussian LCMV beamformer for MEG source reconstruction
Evidence suggests that magnetoencephalogram (MEG) data have characteristics with non-Gaussian distribution, however, standard methods for source localisation assume Gaussian behaviour. We present a new general method for non-Gaussian source estimation of stationary signals for localising brain activity in the MEG data.

Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have been a breakthrough in cancer therapy, inducing durable remissions in responding patients. However, they are associated with variable outcomes, spanning from disease hyperprogression to complete responses with the onset of immune‐related adverse events.

We provide the first detailed description of the network‐level brain dynamics underlying an information processing speed task. Our model shows reduced prefrontal activation in multiple sclerosis, and peak measures in the prefrontal, frontoparietal, and occipital networks correlate with a clinical test quantifying slowed information processing speed ...

Accelerated and improved quantification of lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus (LCMV) titers by flow cytometry. [PDF]
Lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus (LCMV), a natural murine pathogen, is a member of the Arenavirus family, may cause atypical meningitis in humans, and has been utilized extensively as a model pathogen for the study of virus-induced disease and immune ...

A distributed algorithm for robust LCMV beamforming
In this paper we propose a distributed reformulation of the linearly constrained minimum variance (LCMV) beamformer for use in acoustic wireless sensor networks. The proposed distributed minimum variance (DMV) algorithm, for which we demonstrate implementations for both cyclic and acyclic networks, allows the optimal beamformer output to be computed at
