ABSTRACT Cold agglutinin‐mediated autoimmune hemolytic anemia, when secondary to viral and bacterial infections or, rarely, malignancy, is called cold agglutinin syndrome. This is the first case in which acute myeloid leukemia (AML) was the underlying cause of this syndrome.
