Localized Lna Cooling in Vacuum
In the Square Kilometre Array (SKA) telescope [1], [2], the noise temperature of the first LNA must be reduced in order to reduce the necessary active area and the total system costs. Cooling the LNA locally would significantly decrease the noise figure but also the necessary power since not the whole system has to be cooled.

Wee1 kinase differentially regulates maize CDKA2;1a and CDKB1;1
In eukaryotes, Wee1 kinase inhibits the kinase activity of CDK/Cyc complexes through phosphorylation of a conserved residue in the CDK moiety. Wee1 is also present in plants, but has been scarcely studied. We have studied maize Wee1 regulation of CDKA/CycD2;2a or CDKB/CycD2;2a complexes.

Targeting LDL Cholesterol With LNA
Cardiovascular disease is the number one cause of death in the industrialized world. Much of the morbidity and mortality from heart disease can be linked to elevated low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, and one of the key genes that increases LDL cholesterol is Proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9 (PCSK9).

Intratumoral IDH1 mutation status in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma is homogeneous
IDH1 mutations are spatially homogeneous in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma. Single‐sample molecular testing is sufficient for clinical decision‐making. Introduction IDH1 mutations occur in approximately 10%–20% of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (iCCA) and constitute an established target for molecularly guided therapy.

RNA activation in insects: From emerging evidence to molecular applications
Canonical RNA activation involves small RNAs interacting with promoter sequences, but there is also evidence of non‐canonical RNAa in eukaryotes. Emerging evidence suggests the presence of RNAa in insects. RNAa can be utilised as a tool for functional genomic studies in insects.

This study evaluated serum miRNAs as biomarkers in adult patients with SPIDDM. Serum miRNAs were measured at the time of SPIDDM (probable) diagnosis, and miR‐150‐5p was inversely associated with CPI at the last outpatient visit, suggesting its potential utility for predicting subsequent insulin secretory decline.

A K-Band RF-MEMS-Enabled Reconfigurable and Multifunctional Low-Noise Amplifier Hybrid Circuit
A K-band (18–26.5 GHz) RF-MEMS-enabled reconfigurable and multifunctional dual-path LNA hybrid circuit (optimised for lowest/highest possible noise figure/linearity, resp.) is presented, together with its subcircuit parts.

We quantified the rates of incorporation of α-linolenic acid (α-LNA; 18:3n-3) into “stable” lipids (triacylglycerol, phospholipid, cholesteryl ester) and the rate of conversion of α-LNA to docosahexaenoic acid (DHA; 22: 6n-3) in the liver of awake male ...

Gain-Boosted X-Band GaN Low-Noise Amplifier MMIC With Y/preZ-Embedding Network
This study improves the performance of an X-band gallium nitride (GaN) low-noise amplifier (LNA) using a gain-boosting embedding network. Using a gain-plane graph, analytical expressions are derived from the Z-parameters of the transistor to determine ...
