Interferometric processing to look-ahead bed boundary and measure distance and resistivity

Summary The interferometric processing of the long-spacing lowfrequency LWD resistivity-log data can be used to detect a bed boundary ahead of the tool and to determine the distance to the boundary and the resistivity beyond the boundary. The interferometric signal is zero when the tool is away from the boundary.
