RB1 inactivation in cutaneous carcinomas
Among skin carcinomas, recurrent RB1 inactivation is observed in Merkel cell carcinoma, in a subset of squamous cell carcinoma with bowenoid morphology, in sebaceous carcinoma and in the recently described Wnt/beta‐catenin rosette‐forming carcinoma.

Under heat stress, GENOMES UNCOUPLED1 (GUN1) is crucial for the formation of functional chloroplasts in seedlings under heat stress. Without GUN1, chloroplast development fails and seedlings fail to turn green. Therefore, GUN1 helps relay heat‐related cues to maintain chloroplast biogenesis and support thermotolerance during early growth.

Discovery of novel sulphonamide hybrids that inhibit LSD1 against bladder cancer cells
Aim:A series of sulphonamide hybrids were designed, synthesised, and identified as potential lysine-specific demethylase 1 (LSD1) inhibitors.Materials and methods: Bladder cancer cell lines were cultured to evaluate the antiproliferative activity ...

The faah gene is the first direct target of estrogen in the testis: role of histone demethylase LSD1 [PDF]
Estrogen (E(2)) regulates spermatogenesis, yet its direct target genes have not been identified in the testis. Here, we cloned the proximal 5' flanking region of the mouse fatty acid amide hydrolase (faah) gene upstream of the luciferase reporter gene ...

DNTTIP1 drives leukaemogenesis through MiDAC‐mediated epigenetic silencing of BMF
DNTTIP1 cooperates with SP1 to recruit HDAC1/2, leading to BMF silencing and reduced competitive binding of BMF to BCL2.This suppresses autophagy and apoptosis, promoting leukaemic cell survival. Targeting the DNTTIP1‐HDAC1/2‐BMF axis reactivates BMF and induces anti‐leukaemic effects.

The deubiquitinase USP38 affects cellular functions through interacting with LSD1
Background Deubiquitination is a posttranslational protein modification prevalent in mammalian cells. Deubiquitinases regulate the functions of the target protein by removing its ubiquitin chain.

Bufalin Inhibits Cytokine Storm by Regulating TLR4/TLR3 Signaling Pathway
ABSTRACT Background Bufalin is one main component of the dried venom from Bufo gargarizans Cantor, which has anti‐tumor, cardiotonic, anti‐inflammatory and other physiological activities. However, in recent years, researchers have mainly paid attention to its anti‐tumor effect and neglected its anti‐inflammatory effect.

LSD1 inhibition circumvents glucocorticoid-induced muscle wasting of male mice
Synthetic glucocorticoids (GC), such as dexamethasone, are extensively used to treat chronic inflammation and autoimmune disorders. However, long-term treatments are limited by various side effects, including muscle atrophy. GC activities are mediated by
