Decoding IGLL5 Mutation‐Mediated BCR Signaling: A Novel Mechanism of CD8+ T Cell Exhaustion and Ocular MALT Lymphoma Progression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 44, 7 August 2026.
OAML harbors recurrent IGLL5 mutations that reinforce CD79A/CD79B‐associated BCR signaling. Mechanistic analysis of the S47G and A54G variants reveals induction of CXCL10/CXCL11, enhanced CD8+ T‐cell recruitment, and exhaustion‐associated dysfunction, supporting an immune‐tolerant niche.

Survival Outcomes and Prognostic Factors in Patients With Primary Central Nervous System Low‐Grade B‐Cell Lymphoma: A Population‐Based Cohort Study

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 15, Issue 8, August 2026.
ABSTRACT The incidence of primary central nervous system low‐grade B‐cell lymphoma (PCNSL‐LG) is rare. We aimed to provide the first large‐scale analysis of treatment modalities, survival trends, and prognostic factors for PCNSL‐LG. Patient data diagnosed between 2000 and 2021 were extracted from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER ...

Development and Characterization of Low‐Glycemic Couscous Enriched With β‐Glucans and Proteins

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 8, August 2026.
Traditional couscous production with 50/50 blends of different raw materials (wheat, barley and lentil). ABSTRACT In this study, a novel functional couscous with reduced glycemic potential was developed by enrichment of traditional couscous with β‐glucan and protein through the addition of hull‐less barley (cv. Chifaa) and lentil flours.

Enrichment of Gluten‐Free Fresh Pasta With Cricket Flour: Technological and Nutritional Quality

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 8, August 2026.
Gluten‐free fresh pasta was formulated with increasing levels of Acheta domesticus flour (0%–10%). Nutritional composition, cooking performance, color, texture, and in vitro digestibility were evaluated. Consumer perception revealed acceptable sensory quality up to 5.8% inclusion, highlighting cricket flour as a promising ingredient for protein ...

Insights Into Divergent Mechanisms of Pyrite Oxidation by Indigenous Fungi From Mine Tailings

open access: yesMicrobial Biotechnology, Volume 19, Issue 8, August 2026.
To elucidate the mechanisms of fungal pyrite oxidation, a large‐scale isolation of indigenous pyrite‐oxidizing fungi from mine tailings was conducted, and three focal strains were subjected to integrated multi‐omics and molecular analysis in fungus‐pyrite co‐culture systems, revealing their divergent oxidative strategies.

Market regulation and productivity: The case of the Canadian Wheat Board

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Agricultural Economics, Volume 108, Issue 4, Page 1193-1218, August 2026.
Abstract Changes to regulatory environments influence firm‐level incentives, which can move the productivity frontier or reposition firms within an existing frontier. Estimating causal effects of policy changes requires a credible counterfactual for productivity in the absence of policy change.
