Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Periodic review base-stock replenishment policy with endogenous lead times. [PDF]
In this paper, we consider a two stage supply chain where the retailer's inventory is controlled by the periodic review, base-stock level (R,S) replenishment policy and the replenishment lead times are endogenously generated by the manufacturer's ...

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

Matrix-Analytic Methods in Queueing Theory
Analytical methods for tractable (Markov) queueing models commonly assume Poisson arrivals and exponential service. The assumptions are unrealistic from a modeling point of view.

Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Matrix-analytic methods in supply chain management: recent developments
Matrix-analytic methods are a popular modeling tool in a great number of fields, most notable in the analysis of telecommunication systems. Because of their ability to construct and analyze a wide class of stochastic mod els, they can also be applied in ...

We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Solving the Least Squares Method problem in the AHP for 3 X 3 and 4 X 4 matrices
The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is one of the most popular methods used in Multi-Attribute Decision Making. The Eigenvector Method (EM) and some distance minimizing methods such as the Least Squares Method (LSM) are of the possible tools for ...

Advances of matrix–analytic methods in risk modelling [PDF]
This work is concerned with the study of matrix–analytic methods with novel applications to the area of risk theory. First, we review some topics of Applied Probability such as phase–type distributions, matrix–exponential distributions, Markovian arrival
