Critical single-domain/multidomain grain sizes in noninteracting and interacting elongated magnetite particles: Implications for magnetosomes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
The critical size for stable single-domain (SD) behavior has been calculated as a function of grain elongation for magnetite grains using a numerical micromagnetic algorithm.

Almost convergent sequence spaces derived by the domain of quadruple band matrix

open access: yesAnnales Universitatis Paedagogicae Cracoviensis: Studia Mathematica, 2020
In this work, we construct the sequence spaces f(Q(r,s,t,u)), f0(Q(r,s,t,u)) and fs(Q(r,s,t,u)), where Q(r,s,t,u) is quadruple band matrix which generalizes the matrices Δ3, B(r,s,t), Δ2, B(r,s) and Δ, where Δ3, B(r,s,t), Δ2, B(r,s) and Δ are called ...

IMPDH inhibition enhances cytarabine efficacy in SAMHD1‐expressing leukaemia cells via guanine nucleotide depletion

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Interaction between the respiratory syncytial virus G glycoprotein cytoplasmic domain and the matrix protein

open access: yes, 2005
Paramyxovirus assembly at the cell membrane requires the movement of viral components to budding sites and envelopment of nucleocapsids by cellular membranes containing viral glycoproteins, facilitated by interactions with the matrix protein.

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Transmembrane/cytoplasmic domain-mediated membrane type 1-matrix metalloprotease docking to invadopodia is required for cellinvasion

open access: yes, 1997
Free to read at publisher's site.\ud \ud The invasion of human malignant melanoma cells into the extracellular matrix (ECM) involves the accumulation of proteases at sites of ECM degradation where activation of matrix metalloproteases (MMP) occurs. Here,

RECENT RESULTS ON THE DOMAIN OF THE SOME LIMITATION METHODS IN THE SEQUENCE SPACES f0 AND f

open access: yesJournal of New Theory, 2015
− In the present paper, we summarize the literature on the sequence spaces almost A−nulland almost A−convergent derived by using the domain of the certain A− limitation matrix.

A Frequency Domain Method for the Generation of Partially Coherent Normal Stationary Time Domain Signals

open access: yesShock and Vibration, 1993
A procedure for generating vectors of time domain signals that are partially coherent in a prescribed manner is described. The procedure starts with the spectral density matrix, [Gxx(f)] , that relates pairs of elements of the vector random process {X(t)}

Exploiting Trust and Usage Context for Cross-Domain Recommendation

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2016
Cross-domain recommender systems are usually able to suggest items, which are not in the same domain, where users provided ratings. For this reason, cross-domain recommendation has attracted more and more attention in recent years.

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...
