N6‐Methyladenosine (m6A) in Liver Disease: Pathogenic Mechanisms and Therapeutic Potential
ABSTRACT Accumulating evidence highlights the critical role of epigenetic modifications, particularly N6‐methyladenosine (m6A), in liver disease. As the most abundant RNA modification in eukaryotic cells, m6A is dynamically regulated by multicomponent m6A methyltransferases (e.g., METTL3 and METTL14), demethylases (FTO and ALKBH5), and m6A‐binding ...

Adhesion of cells to the surrounding extracellular matrix (ECM) is required for a metazoan existence, enabling cells to migrate and signal appropriately in response to changes in their environment. Plasma membrane integrin receptors are key mediators of cell-ECM adhesion: they bind a range of ECM molecules at focal sites, trigger the recruitment of ...

Lysosome Evanescence Mediates Autophagic Flux Impairment in Glucose Imbalanced Environments
ABSTRACT Schwann cells (SCs) support axonal function and promote nerve regeneration. This study investigated how various glucose concentrations influence SC viability, oxidative stress, and autophagy, which contribute to diabetic neuropathy. RSC96 SCs were cultured under five glucose conditions (0, 2.5, 5.5, 50, or 100 mM) for 24, 48, and 72 h.
