High morbidity and mortality are common traits of malignant tumours and identification of the cells responsible is a focus of on-going research. Many studies are now reporting the use of antibodies specific to Clusters of Differentiation (CD) cell ...

Extra-axial Cerebellopontine Angle Adult Medulloblastoma: An Unusual Presentation at an Unusual Site
Medulloblastoma is a rare adult primary brain tumor and its presence in the cerebellopontine angle (CPA) constitutes an even rarer site for origin. There are only 40 reported cases of CPA medulloblastoma in the literature, with most being intra-axial and

Uniformity under in vitro conditions: Changes in the phenotype of cancer cell lines derived from different medulloblastoma subgroups. [PDF]
Medulloblastoma comprises four main subgroups (WNT, SHH, Group 3 and Group 4) originally defined by transcriptional profiling. In primary medulloblastoma tissues, these groups are thought to be distinguishable using the immunohistochemical detection of β-

Manifestations of an atypical variant of medulloblastoma of the posterior fossa in extra-axial locations have been reported, and key questions concerning its interpretation have been raised previously. This review illustrated the clinico-radiological and

Ruxolitinib restore chemosensitivity in medulloblastoma resistant cells
reservedMedulloblastoma is one of the most common paediatric brain tumor that develops in the cerebellum, with a five-year overall survival under 60%, despite the several clinical therapies.

Targeted therapy was evaluated in SHH medulloblastoma using neuroepithelial stem cell (NES) and tumor‐derived NES‐like (tNES) models in 2D monolayers and 3D spheroids. PI3K, AKT, and CDK4/6 inhibitors had minimal effects in NES but markedly reduced viability and growth and induced apoptosis in tNES cells, revealing distinct therapeutic vulnerabilities.

Posterior fossa medulloblastoma in an atypical extra-axial location: A case report
Medulloblastoma is the most common posterior fossa tumor of childhood typically within the fourth ventricle. However, extra-axial medulloblastoma in posterior fossa is an uncommon diagnosis.

Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Background Extracellular vesicles (EVs) play a crucial role in intercellular communication. While the effects of EVs released from living or non-dying cancer cells are well characterized, the impact of EVs released from chemotherapy-treated or apoptotic ...
