Prevalence and Correlates of Geriatric Depression: A Community‐Based Cross‐Sectional Study in Bangladesh

Geriatric depression affects over one‐third of older adults in Bangladesh. Poor family bonding, financial instability, lifestyle dissatisfaction, chronic illness, and lack of exercise are key contributors, underscoring the urgent need for integrated mental health support and social interventions for the aging population.
