Alternariol 9-O-methyl ether [PDF]
The title compound (AME; systematic name: 3,7-dihy-droxy-9-meth-oxy-1-methyl-6H-benzo[c]chromen-6-one), C(15)H(12)O(5), was isolated from an endophytic fungi Alternaria sp., from Catharanthus roseus (common name: Madagascar periwinkle). There is an intramolecular O-H⋯O hydrogen bond in the essentially planar mol-ecule (r.m.s. deviation 0.02 Å).

Rate constants and Arrhenius parameters for the reactions of OH radicals and Cl atoms with CF3CH2OCHF2, CF3CHClOCHF2 and CF3CH2OCClF2, using the discharge-flow/resonance fluorescence method [PDF]
Rate constants have been determined for the reactions of OH radicals and Cl atoms with the three partially halogenated methyl-ethyl ethers, CF\(_3\)CH\(_2\)OCHF\(_2\), CF\(_3\)CHClOCHF\(_2\) and CF\(_3\)CH\(_2\)OCClF\(_2\), using discharge-flow ...

ABSTRACT Metal oxide (MOx)‐based NO2 gas sensors typically require high temperatures or ultraviolet light, limiting their practical use. To enable visible‐light activation at room temperature, efficient and stable photosensitizers should be integrated with nanostructured MOx hosts.

Final Report on the Safety Assessment of PPG-2 Methyl Ether, PPG-3 Methyl Ether, and PPG-2 Methyl Ether Acetate [PDF]
PPG-2 methyl ether, PPG-3 methyl ether, and PPG-2 methyl ether acetate are used in cosmetics as fragrance ingredients and/or solvents at concentrations of 0.4% to 2%. Propylene glycol ethers are rapidly absorbed and distributed throughout the body when introduced by inhalation or oral exposure, but the inhalation toxicity of PPG-2 methyl ether vapor ...
