Preliminary experiments on the influence of exposure to methyleugenol on mating success of males in the Peach fruit fly, Bactrocear zonata

open access: yes, 2004
In 2004, preliminary experiments have been initiated in CIRAD Réunion on the influence of the parapheromone methyleugenol (ME) on mating success of males of the Peach fruit fly, Bactrocera zonata.

Interaction between triphenylphosphine or 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane with some complexes K[PtCl3(olefin)] (olefin: methyleugenol, safrole, isopropyl eugenoxyacetate)

open access: yes, 2017
Novel study on the interaction between K[PtCl3(olefin)] (olefin: methyleugenol, safrole and isopropyl eugenoxyacetate) with TPP and DPPE shows that TPP and DPPE readily replace the olefins to form complexes [PtCl2(TPP)2] (P4), [PtCl2(DPPE)] (P5) and [Pt ...

Bioactivation and genotoxicity of the herbal constituents safrole, estragole and methyleugenol

open access: yes
The herbal constituents safrole, estragole, and methyleugenol, belonging to the chemical class of the alkenylbenzenes, are genotoxic and carcinogenic compounds. The genotoxicity of these alkenylbenzenes proceeds via electrophilic metabolites generated bycytochromeP450 enzymes (P450) andsulfotransferases(SULT).
