Despite the large variety of traditional, flexible and stretchable Micro-Electrode Array (MEA) devices available for use with organoids, most of them present drawbacks when applied for long-term 3D neural tissue monitoring applications. In many cases, 3D

FIELD EXPERIMENT ON HYPOLIMNIC AERATION USING MICRO OXYGEN BUBBLES IN A EUTROPHIC RESERVOIR
An in-situ experiment on hypolimnic aeration was carried out in Fuchu reservoir, which has been suffering from severe eutrophication, from mid-August to early December in 2004. Micro oxygen bubbles were injected into the anaerobic hypolimnion to improve water quality without disturbing the thermal stratification.

Micro-oxygenation in Madeira Wine

Spatio-Temporal Dynamics of Hypoxia during Radiotherapy.
Tumour hypoxia plays a pivotal role in cancer therapy for most therapeutic approaches from radiotherapy to immunotherapy. The detailed and accurate knowledge of the oxygen distribution in a tumour is necessary in order to determine the right treatment ...

AbstractHypoxia and reactive oxygen species (ROS) overaccumulation cause persistent oxidative stress and impair intrinsic regenerative potential upon tissue injury. For local tissue injury with hypoxia, such as bone fracture and defects, a localized‐sufficient oxygen supply is highly desirable but remains challenging.

Hemorheological factors may show arterio-venous differences. Alterations in acid-base and metabolic parameters may also influence these factors. However, little is known about changes in micro-rheological parameters during abdominal surgery, influencing ...

Methanogen‐Mediated Precipitation of Mn Carbonates at the Expense of Mn Oxides
Whether Mn carbonates can be used as a proxy for the oxygenation event is debated. Here we examined the Early Cretaceous lacustrine Mn carbonates from North China, which contain abundant microbial fossils. The extremely positive δ13C (up to +15‰ relative
