ABSTRACT High‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) is the most common and lethal histological subtype of ovarian cancer. This study aimed to identify peritoneal metastasis‐associated biomarkers of HGSOC to provide directions for subsequent treatment. Transcriptome data were extracted from the GEO database and literature. Differential expression analysis,

Sialic Acid Glycobiology Unveils Trypanosoma cruzi Trypomastigote Membrane Physiology. [PDF]
Trypanosoma cruzi, the flagellate protozoan agent of Chagas disease or American trypanosomiasis, is unable to synthesize sialic acids de novo. Mucins and trans-sialidase (TS) are substrate and enzyme, respectively, of the glycobiological system that ...

Engineered extracellular vesicles (EVs) offer a versatile platform for kidney‐targeted therapy. This review summarizes bioengineering strategies, including cargo loading, surface modification, biomimetic fabrication, and biomaterial integration. We highlight translational challenges and propose future solutions to accelerate the clinical application of

Introduction. Patients with cancer have a 7- to 10-fold increased risk of developing venous thromboembolism. Circulating microvesicles could be a useful predictive biomarker for venous thromboembolism in cancer. Validated and standardised techniques that

Effects of Mesenchymal Stem Cell‐Derived Exosomes on Lung Inflammation in a Murine Aspiration Model
This study assessed the effect of intravenous MSC‐derived exosomes on inflammatory lung injury in a rat model of LPS aspiration. Compared with LPS alone, MSC exosome treatment reduced histologic lung injury overall (significant group effect p = 0.02; linear trend p = 0.006) and significantly lowered Tnf gene expression on qRT‐PCR (p < 0.05).

Microvesicles, small membrane vesicles released from cells, have beneficial and/or deleterious effects in sepsis. We previously reported that non-muscle myosin light chain kinase (nmMLCK) deletion protects mice against endotoxic shock by reducing ...

ABSTRACT This study investigated the function of epididymal extracellular vesicles (EVs) in overcoming sperm post‐testicular modification deficiencies. Although EVs derived from the epididymis play a crucial role in intercellular communication and molecular exchange, there is limited research addressing how EVs released by in vitro cultured epididymal ...
