Phospholipase C-β2 interacts with mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase 3

Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications, 2002
Phospholipase C (PLC)-beta enzymes (isoenzymes beta 1-beta 4) are activated by G protein subunits, leading to the generation of intracellular messengers which mobilize calcium and activate protein kinase C. It has recently been recognized that these enzymes interact with and are regulated by proteins other than G proteins.

MircroRNA-145 Attenuates Cardiac Fibrosis Via Regulating Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinase Kinase Kinase 3

Cardiovascular Drugs and Therapy, 2022
This study aimed to explore the effect of microRNA (miR)-145 on cardiac fibrosis in heart failure mice and its target.Experiments were carried out in mice receiving left coronary artery ligation, transverse aortic constriction (TAC), or angiotensin (Ang) II to trigger heart failure, and in cardiac fibroblasts (CFs) with Ang II-induced fibrosis. The miR ...

Studies of the Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinases and Phosphatidylinositol-3 Kinase in the Lens. 2. The Intercommunications*

Experimental Eye Research, 2002
The lens possesses comprehensive mitogen-activated signal transduction pathways (MAPK), which include the mitogen response pathway (Raf-MEK-ERK cascade), the stress-response pathways (p38 and SAPK/JNK cascades) and also the survival pathway (PI-3K-Akt).
