Lyapunov-Based Two-Degree-of-Freedom Model Reference Adaptive Control of Axial-Piston Pump

open access: yesMathematics
The article is devoted to the synthesis, implementation, simulation and experimental study of a real-time Lyapunov-based two-degree-of-freedom model reference adaptive controller (MRAC) for an axial-piston pump.

Adaptive Model Reference Sliding Mode Control of Structural Nonlinear Vibration

open access: yesShock and Vibration, 2019
In this paper, an active mass damper (AMD) with adaptive control design is used to mitigate the vibrations of a multi-degree-of-freedom (MDOF) nonlinear structure under earthquake excitation.

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Single Link Robot Arm Trajectory Following Using Model Reference Adaptive Control Algorithm [PDF]

open access: yesEngineering and Technology Journal, 2010
Robust adaptive tracking control algorithm is proposed in this paper for single link robot arm position control. A model reference adaptive control algorithm is applied to control the angular position of the robot arm by tuning the parameters of the ...

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Model Reference Adaptive Control for Wing-Rock Suppression in Delta-Wing Aircraft [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences
Wing rock, a self-excited rolling oscillation occurring at high angles of attack, significantly affects flight stability and maneuverability in highly swept configurations.

Organizing the interface—Plasma membrane architecture and receptor dynamics in virus‐cell interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

Modeling and Control of Reconfigurable Quadrotors Based on Model Reference Adaptive Control

open access: yesAerospace
To expand the application prospects of quadrotors in challenging scenes such as those with dense obstacles and narrow corridors, task-driven reconfigurable quadrotors are highly desirable.

On Adaptive Control With Closed-Loop Reference Models: Transients, Oscillations, and Peaking

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2013
One of the main features of adaptive systems is an oscillatory convergence that exacerbates with the speed of adaptation. Recently, it has been shown that closed-loop reference models (CRMs) can result in improved transient performance over their open ...
