Voltammetric determination of mifepristone at a DNA-modified carbon paste electrode
Fresenius' Journal of Analytical Chemistry, 2000A new strategy for the preparation of a DNA-modified carbon paste electrode is developed. It is found that the anodic response of mifepristone is greatly enhanced at the dsDNA-modified carbon paste electrode comparing with that obtained at the bare electrode, while the response at a ssDNA-modified electrode is similar to bare electrode.

Determination of iron(II) with chemically-modified carbon-paste electrodes
Talanta, 1991The utility of carbon-paste electrodes modified with 2,2'-bipyridyl and Nafion for the differential pulse voltammetric determination of iron(II) in aqueous medium is demonstrated. The method is based on formation of the 2,2'-bipyridyl complex of iron(II) and its accumulation by the Nafion. The differential pulse voltammetric response of the accumulated

Voltammetric determination of linuron at a carbon-paste electrode modified with sepiolite
Talanta, 1990The determination of linuron by differential pulse voltammetry with a carbon-paste electrode modified with 20% w/w sepiolite has been studied. The linuron is preconcentrated under open-circuit conditions at pH 2.0. With 0.01M potassium nitrate at pH 1.7 in the measurement cell, a sweep rate of 30 mV/sec and a pulse amplitude of 100 mV, an oxidation ...

Voltammetric study of glibenclamide at carbon paste and Sephadex-modified carbon paste electrodes
Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry, 2004The oxidative behaviour of the antidiabetic agent glibenclamide on a bare carbon paste electrode (CPE) and a Sephadex-modified carbon paste electrode (SMCPE) was explored by cyclic and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). The analysis procedure consisted of an open circuit accumulation step in stirred sample solution of Britton-Robinson buffer (0.04 ...

Determination of gold using clay modified carbon paste electrode
Fresenius' Journal of Analytical Chemistry, 2000Sorption of gold(III) chlorocomplexes was studied by means of a carbon paste electrode modified with montmorillonite. Anionic exchange behavior was found in chloride media with low ionic strength. Anionic sorption of [AuCl4]- can be used as a preconcentration step to the determination of Au(III).

Electrochemical behaviour of clenbuterol at nation-modified carbon-paste electrodes
Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis, 1995A detailed study of the electrochemistry of clenbuterol at bare carbon-paste electrodes (CPEs) has been carried out. Results showed that clenbuterol undergoes an ECE process. This compound is irreversibly oxidised at high potentials, resulting in the formation of a product which demonstrates quasi-reversible electrochemical behaviour at less positive ...

Voltammetric characterization of activated carbons in modified carbon paste electrodes
Electroanalysis, 1993AbstractCarbon paste electrodes (CPEs), modified by the addition of small amounts of finely powdered activated carbon (AC) were studied using cyclic (CV) and square wave voltammetry (SWV). Cyclic voltammograms revealed the expected increase in surface area associated with the presence of the activated carbon but did not reveal any specific redox peaks.

ALCOHOL DETERMINATION BY MODIFIED CARBON PASTE ELECTRODES
2023The basis of this alcohol sensor is the oxidation of ethanol by NAD* with alcohol dehydrogenase as the catalyzing enzyme. The NADH formed is detected electrochemically at 700 mV versus a Ag/AgCl-electrode. The electrode used is a carbon paste electrode with the enzyme and the cofactor mixed into the paste. The sensor can be used up to concentrations of
