Amperometric biosensors for glucose based on carbon paste modified electrodes

Talanta, 1991
The modification of carbon-paste electrodes by incorporation of the enzyme glucose oxidase (GOD) is described. The resulting probes can be operated as amperometric glucose sensors in the presence or absence of a mediator (1,1'-dimethylferrocene) mixed into the paste.

Glassy carbon paste electrodes modified with polyphenol oxidase

Analytica Chimica Acta, 2002
Abstract The electrochemical behavior of a glassy carbon paste electrode (GCPE) is evaluated in comparison to that of graphite paste electrode (gPE) and glassy carbon electrode (GCE). Important shifting in the peak potentials and increases in the peak currents for catechol, ascorbic acid, dopamine and hydroquinone were obtained for the GCPE and its ...

Hexacyanoferrate‐anion exchanger‐modified carbon paste electrodes

Electroanalysis, 1997
AbstractThe preparation of carbon paste electrodes (CPEs) modified with the hexacyanoferrate ion attached to synthetic hydrotalcite, a solid anion exchange resin Wofatit SBW and a liquid anion exchanger tris‐octylamine (TOA) used as pasting liquid, is described. Stability of the electrodes and their electrocatalytic properties were investigated.

Determination of Roxarsone Using Carbon Paste and Amberlite LA2 Modified Carbon Paste Electrodes

Electroanalysis, 2000
The methods for determination of the growth promoter 4-hydroxy-3-nitrobenzenearsonic acid (Roxarsone) in veterinary product and in poultry drinks have been developed using differential pulse voltammetry with carbon paste and Amberlite LA2 chemically modified carbon paste electrodes.

Modified carbon paste electrodes for Cu(II) determination

Materials Science and Engineering: C, 2012
Abstract A new Cu 2+ carbon paste electrode (CPE) using 2,2′-(1E,1′E)-1,1′-(2,2′-azanediylbis (ethane-2,1-diyl)bis(azan-1-yl-1-ylidene))bis(ethan-1-yl-1-ylidene)diphenol (ADEZEDP) has been prepared. The influence of variables including sodium tetraphenylborate (NaTPB), ionophore, and amount of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT), CdO nanowires, CdS

Voltammetry of hexacyanoferrates using a chemically modified carbon-paste electrode

The Analyst, 1986
A simple electroanalytical method for the quantitative determination of hexacyanoferrate(II) and -(III) has been developed using a carbon-paste electrode, chemically modified with a weakly basic anion exchanger. The complexes can be pre-concentrated at the electrode surface prior to voltammetric determination.

Modified carbon paste electrodes for discrimination of vegetable oils

Sensors and Actuators B: Chemical, 2005
Abstract A new methodology for the analysis of alimentary vegetable oils has been developed. Vegetables oils have been used as electroactive binder material of carbon paste electrodes. The electrochemical response of such electrodes immersed in a variety of electrolytic aqueous solutions has been exploited to discriminate the oils.

Electrocatalitic behaviour of serpentinite modified carbon paste electrode

Journal of Electroanalytical Chemistry, 2017
Abstract Electrochemistry of carbon paste electrode which contained serpentinite powder and graphite in 1:1 weight ratio was examined in three-electrode cell regarding its electrocatalytic and sensing properties. For this purpose, red-ox reactions of potassium ferrocyanide in aqueous solutions as benchmark media and pesticide tebufenozide (TBF) were ...

Trace analysis at clay‐modified carbon paste electrodes

Electroanalysis, 1989
AbstractCarbon paste electrodes modified with montmorillonite clay are used for the collection of iron(III) from dilute solutions followed by voltammetric quantification of the surface‐bound cation. Open‐circuit conditions are maintained during the ion exchange preconcentration.

Chemiluminescent Determination of Glucose with a Modified Carbon Paste Electrode

Microchemical Journal, 1999
A flow injection analysis detection method for glucose is presented which is based on the oxidation of glucose by glucose oxidase followed by chemiluminescent detection of hydrogen peroxide. Both glucose oxidase and hematin, a chemiluminescent reaction catalyst, were bulk-immobilized conveniently by direct mixing with carbon paste, which allows renewal
