Glasnik zaštite bilja, 1999 TRULEŽ PLODOVA JABUKE I KRUŠKE -U našem uzgojnom području M. fructigena je najvažniji uzročnik truleži plodova jabučastog voća. Posljednjih godina trulež plodova češća je pojava u voćnjacima. Međutim, zapažene su i učestalije zaraze cvijeta i grančica. Moram odmah napomenuti da cvijet jabuke napada Monilinia laxa f. mali Wormald.

The brown rot fungi of fruit crops ( Monilinia spp.) cause blossom blight, twig blight, and fruit rot in rosaceous fruit crops in the temperate regions of the world. Three species are distinguished, of which M. fructicola and M. laxa are predominant in stone fruit culture, whereas M. fructigena is in pome fruits.
