Effect of Shear on Polymorphic Transitions in Monoglyceride Oleogels
Fat polymorphism plays a critical role in the structural and functional properties of fat-based food products. However, research on the polymorphism of monoglyceride oleogels remains limited.

Cell membrane‐coated nanoparticles for dermatological diseases
Skin disorders are challenging to treat due to complex barrier functions and limited conventional therapies. Biomimetic cell membrane‐coated nanoparticles (CM‐NPs) offer a superior nanomedicine approach by evading immune detection and enabling precise targeting.

Caracterização de resíduo sólido formado em biodiesel de sebo bovino
The nature of the solid residue formed in beef tallow biodiesel from two commercial producers in Brazil was determined by comparative analytical techniques, namely, gas chromatography with flame ionization detector (GC-FID) and thermogravimetry (TG ...

PDE4D and PDE3B orchestrate distinct cAMP microdomains in 3T3‐L1 adipocytes
Basal conditions: •Ins/PDE3B lowers cytoplasmic cAMP (cyt‐cAMP) without affecting plasma membrane cAMP (pm‐cAMP). •Insulin decreases lipid droplet cAMP (LD‐cAMP) independent of PDE3B. •FGF1/PDE4D modestly reduces both cyt‐ and pm‐cAMP, while PDE4D alone can modulate LD‐cAMP. ISO stimulation: •Ins/PDE3B has minimal impact on cyt‐cAMP.

Cannabidiol (CBD) and cannabigerol (CBG) alleviate hepatic steatosis in obese mice by shifting energy buffering towards phosphocreatine and enhancing lysosomal lipid degradation and trafficking. These effects are associated with increased creatine kinase activity and lysobisphosphatidic acid (LBPA) levels, highlighting a previously unrecognised ...

Structural Build-Up and Stability of Hybrid Monoglyceride–Triglyceride Oleogels
Oleogelation is an alternative oil structuring route to formulate (semi-)solid fats with a reduced amount of saturated fats. Monoglycerides have been identified as effective gelators; however, their application potential can be limited due to challenges ...
