On Collaboration in a Distributed Multi-Target Tracking Framework

open access: yes2007 IEEE International Conference on Communications, 2007
A fully-distributed collaborative multi-target tracking framework that eliminates the need for a central data associaton or a central coordinating node for wireless sensor networks is defined. Details of the distributed data association architecture, which is more feasible than the ones relying on a coordinating entity, is described.

Multi-target visual tracking with aerial robots [PDF]

open access: yes2014 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems, 2014
We study the problem of tracking mobile targets using a team of aerial robots. Each robot carries a camera to detect targets moving on the ground. The overall goal is to plan for the trajectories of the robots in order to track the most number of targets, and accurately estimate the target locations using the images.

Multi-target tracking of packed yeast cells [PDF]

open access: yes2010 IEEE International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging: From Nano to Macro, 2010
The tracking of cell populations in time-lapse microscopy images enables high-throughput spatiotemporal measurements of cell dynamics. In this paper, we present a new algorithm to simultaneously track many cells in crowded areas. The algorithm runs in real time and deals with thousands of cells. The main contribution of this paper is that the algorithm

Concurrent Multi-Target Tracking [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the Fifth Distributed Memory Computing Conference, 1990., 2005
Simulation89 is an emulation of various SDI tasks (tracking, engagement management and ‘look ahead’) developed for the U. S. Air Force. The simulation presently deals with the boost, post-boost and early midcourse phases of a ’mass raid’ scenario, and is designed to process scenarios with a few thousand targets.

Visual-attention gabor filter based online multi-armored target tracking

open access: yesDefence Technology, 2021
The multi-armored target tracking (MATT) plays a crucial role in coordinated tracking and strike. The occlusion and insertion among targets and target scale variation is the key problems in MATT.

Information Consensus for Distributed Multi-target Tracking [PDF]

open access: yes2013 IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition, 2013
Due to their high fault-tolerance, ease of installation and scalability to large networks, distributed algorithms have recently gained immense popularity in the sensor networks community, especially in computer vision. Multi-target tracking in a camera network is one of the fundamental problems in this domain.
