Identifying leukaemia stem cells (LSC) and defining how they drive tumourigenesis might aid in the treatment of disease. Here, the authors show that a reporter Musashi 2 can serve as a platform to effectively identify leukemic stem cells and it is used ...

Mechanism of RNA recognition by a Musashi RNA-binding protein
The Musashi RNA-binding proteins (RBPs) regulate translation of target mRNAs and maintenance of cell stemness and tumorigenesis. Musashi-1 (MSI1), long considered as an intestinal and neural stem cell marker, has been more recently found to be over ...

We present a tissue‐stimulator platform for seamless electrode integration with pancreatic tissue, applying uniform electrical stimulation through optimized design with biohybrid 3D printing. Advantageous effects of electrical stimulation on β‐cell function were observed, including enhanced calcium signaling, islet morphology, and maturation.

Allosteric inhibition of a stem cell RNA-binding protein by an intermediary metabolite
Gene expression and metabolism are coupled at numerous levels. Cells must sense and respond to nutrients in their environment, and specialized cells must synthesize metabolic products required for their function.

An mRNA‐liposome vaccine via dissolving microneedles (ML‐DMN) enables efficient skin‐targeted delivery while preserving mRNA integrity and allowing sustained antigen expression. Unlike intramuscular (IM) injection, ML‐DMN engages skin‐resident immune cells, activates antigen‐presenting cells (APCs), and induces strong T cell and cytokine responses at ...

Musashi: Takezo the Ronin, Aggression, and Erich Fromm's Psychological Perspective
This study explores the character of Takezo the ronin in Musashi by Eiji Yoshikawa through the psychological perspective of aggression. This research specifically aims to (a) explore Takezo's psychology of aggression as a ronin and (b) the impact of ...

Epigenetic Aging in Brain Tissue of the Self‐Fertilizing Vertebrate, Kryptolebias marmoratus
Using the self‐fertilizing vertebrate Kryptolebias marmoratus, we developed an epigenetic clock from brain tissue that predicts chronological age with high accuracy, demonstrating that DNA methylation changes consistently with age even in the near absence of genetic variation. The 40 age‐associated CpG sites identified map to genes with conserved roles

Biomaterial Physical Cues as Gene Regulators for Cellular Agriculture
This review elucidates how biomaterial physical cues—ranging from matrix stiffness to remote electromagnetic fields—serve as extrinsic regulators of gene expression in cellular agriculture. By identifying central mechanotransduction pathways that bridge physical inputs to genetic remodeling, the authors propose the “Material Genome” concept: a ...

Meniscus Pixel Printing for Contact‐Lens Vision Sensing and Robotic Control
A visual‐sensing contact lens is enabled by meniscus pixel printing (MPP), which rapidly patterns a 200 µm perovskite photodetector pixel in 1 s without masks, vacuum processing, or bulky equipment. A deep‐learning‐based super‐resolution reconstructs sparse on‐lens signals into 80 × 80 high‐resolution visual information, while AI‐driven eye‐tracking ...
