Phototherapies mediated by metallic nanoparticles and near‐infrared radiation in skin cancer: A systematic review

Recent studies demonstrate that near‐infrared (NIR—750–980 nm)‐mediated photodynamic (PDT) and photothermal (PTT) therapies, combined with metallic nanoparticles (MNPs), show promising results against skin cancer, particularly melanoma, in both in vitro and in vivo models.

ABSTRACT Duodenal self‐expandable metal stents (SEMS) are widely used to treat malignant gastric outlet obstruction (GOO). However, stent migration is a well‐known complication.
