A Biomimetic cRGDyk‐Engineered Platelet Nanoplatform for ACAD11 Delivery to Trigger Pyroptosis in Hepatocellular Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A biomimetic platelet nanoplatform (OE‐ACAD11@R‐PLT) is developed for targeted hepatocellular carcinoma immunotherapy. By selectively delivering therapeutic plasmids, this system induces mitochondrial dysfunction and triggers robust NLRP3/Caspase‐1/GSDMD‐mediated pyroptosis in tumor cells.

Expression of the Arabidopsis redox-related LEA protein, SAG21 is regulated by ERF, NAC and WRKY transcription factors

open access: yesScientific Reports
SAG21/LEA5 is an unusual late embryogenesis abundant protein in Arabidopsis thaliana, that is primarily mitochondrially located and may be important in regulating translation in both chloroplasts and mitochondria.

Carcinoembryonic Antigen Messenger RNA in Pelvic Lavage Fluid Predicts Local Recurrence After Curative‐Intent Resection of Rectal Cancer

open access: yesAnnals of Gastroenterological Surgery, EarlyView.
Pelvic lavage carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) mRNA was quantified in 178 patients undergoing curative‐intent resection for rectal cancer. Positive pelvic lavage CEA mRNA was significantly associated with local recurrence and provided additional prognostic information beyond circumferential resection margin (CRM) status.

Identification and Expression Analysis of Transcription Factor Family in Highland Barley Seedlings Under Na2SeO3 Treatment

open access: yesLife
Transcription factors (TFs) are ubiquitously distributed in plants and play pivotal roles in regulating plant growth and development. The present study aims to elucidate the function of transcription factors (TFs) in highland barley’s response to ...

DNA binding by the plant-specific NAC transcription factors in crystal and solution:a firm link to WRKY and GCM transcription factors

open access: yes, 2012
NAC (NAM/ATAF/CUC) plant transcription factors regulate essential processes in development, stress responses and nutrient distribution in important crop and model plants (rice, Populus, Arabidopsis), which makes them highly relevant in the context of ...

Comparative in silico analysis of miRNA targeting of NAC and MYB transcription factors associated with secondary cell wall regulation in rice and maize

open access: yesFrontiers in Plant Science
Cellulose biosynthesis and secondary cell wall formation are regulated by hierarchical networks involving NAC and MYB transcription factors and their post-transcriptional regulation by miRNAs.

GmNAC5, a NAC Transcription Factor, Is a Transient Response Regulator Induced by Abiotic Stress in Soybean

open access: yesThe Scientific World Journal, 2013
GmNAC5 is a member of NAM subfamily belonging to NAC transcription factors in soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.). Studies on NAC transcription factors have shown that this family functioned in the regulation of shoot apical meristem (SAM), hormone ...

DNA-binding specificity and molecular functions of NAC transcription factors

open access: yes, 2005
Udgivelsesdato: October 2005The family of NAC (NAM/ATAF1,2/CUC2) transcription factors has been implicated in a wide range of plant processes, but knowledge onthe DNA-binding properties of the family is limited. Using a reiterative selection procedure on

Anodal Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation Improves Social Behavior Alongside Neuroplastic Changes in a Tsc2+/− Rat Model of Autism Spectrum Disorder

open access: yesAutism Research, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by altered synaptic connectivity and network organization, resulting in profound impairments in social communication and interaction. Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) represents a promising approach to modulate maladaptive plasticity associated with ASD;
