Self‐Nanoformulating Poly(2‐oxazoline) and Poly(2‐oxazine) Copolymers Based Amorphous Solid Dispersions as Microneedle Patch: A Formulation Study

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, Volume 9, Issue 23, December 2, 2024.
This study presents a new method in transdermal drug delivery using microneedles made from a drug and a block copolymer, achieving a minimalist formulation with high drug loading (40 wt%). The microneedles maintain structural integrity and effectiveness in skin penetration and introduce an innovative “nano‐in‐micro drug delivery system” for improved ...

Protein Cage Directed Assembly of Binary Nanoparticle Superlattices

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 11, Issue 45, December 4, 2024.
Co‐crystallization of two different protein cages characterized by opposing surface charges and unequal diameter is shown. Encapsulating metal nanoparticles inside the cages and precise tuning of the electrostatic attraction between the cages enables the preparation of binary crystals with dimensions up to several tens of micrometers.

In Situ TEM Imaging Reveals the Dynamic Interplay Between Attraction, Repulsion and Sequential Attraction‐Repulsion in Gold Nanoparticles

open access: yesSmall, Volume 20, Issue 51, December 19, 2024.
The effect of electron beam dose rate, nanoparticle size, and interparticle distance on the in situ nanoscale dynamics of gold nanoparticles are investigated. The results revealed that two other dynamic processes, repulsion, and sequential attraction‐repulsion are also as favorable as that of routinely observed coalescence between two gold ...

‘What do you know about fat?’ Drawing on Diverse Funds of Knowledge in Inquiry Based Science Education

open access: yesNordina: Nordic Studies in Science Education, 2012
Connecting students’ worlds, knowledge and experiences with school science has been a central issue in science education research. Here, we conceptualize processes of drawing on students’ personal experiences and knowledge in terms of ‘funds of knowledge’

Naturvetenskap i förskolans vardag : Pedagogers och barns syn på möjligheterna att upptäcka naturvetenskap

open access: yes, 2014
According to the literature there are different ways to describe science. The work with science in pre-school is often to allow the children to experiment and explore various phenomena and hypotheses. The environment and the material is an important part in the discovery of science.
