The Synthesis and the Role of NDV-Neuraminidase

Zentralblatt für Veterinärmedizin Reihe B, 2010
Summary The enzyme neuraminidase can be detected in cells from monkey heart, infected with NDV 4 hours after infection. The enzyme activity, determined with the low molecular-weight substrate neuraminlactose, steadily inreases and reaches its maximum at 12 hours after infection.

Newcastle disease virus (NDV) vaccine based on immunization with avian cells expressing the NDV hemagglutinin-beuraminidase glycoprotein

Virology, 1991
Newcastle disease virus (NDV) is a paramyxovirus that bears two envelope glycoproteins at the virion surface. These proteins, fusion and hemagglutinin-neuraminidase (HN), are involved in the immune response against NDV infection. Recombinant cells constitutively expressing at their surface the HN protein from the velogenic Texas strain were generated ...

NDVS: A System of News Data Visualize

2015 Fifth International Conference on Instrumentation and Measurement, Computer, Communication and Control (IMCCC), 2015
This article leads the concept of data visualization into the huge amounts of news data, design and implements a system of News Data Visual System (NDVS). It is a news gathering, analysis, structured storage and visual analysis system. NDVS collects news data in the schedule time from seeds website by a web spider that written by java every day.

Antigenic variation of LaSota and genotype VII Newcastle disease virus (NDV) and their efficacy against challenge with velogenic NDV

Vaccine, 2017
Continued monitoring and evaluation of vaccine efficacy against prevalent or newly isolated strains has great importance in advising Newcastle disease (ND) immunization strategy. In this study, we systematically analysed the antigenic variation between genotype VII NDV aSG10 and the commercial vaccine strain LaSota, and assessed their efficacy against ...

Recombinant NDV expressing cytokines or fliC confers a quick immune response against NDV challenge and resistance to maternal antibody

Veterinary Microbiology, 2016
Currently, there are two major bottleneck problems which seriously affect prevention of the Newcastle disease (ND): interference of maternal antibody on NDV vaccination and slow production of neutralization antibody. To overcome these problems, in present study, four rNDV vaccine strains expressing bio-adjuvants chIL2, chIL15, chGM-CSF or fliC gene ...

Hemagglutinin–Neuraminidase and fusion genes are determinants of NDV thermostability

Veterinary Microbiology, 2019
Newcastle disease (ND) caused by infections with virulent strains of Newcastle disease virus (NDV) continues to be a threat for poultry industry worldwide. The prospect of developing a thermostable and effective NDV vaccine is still highly desirable.

Cross-linking of Newcastle disease virus (NDV) proteins

Archives of Virology, 1978
The proxomity and spatial relationships of the structural proteins of Newcastle disease virus (NDV) were studied by chemical cross-linking with a series of imidoesters. When the virions were reacted by the cross-linker with a distance 6.1A or longer between the functional groups and analyzed by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, remarkable changes ...

Host influence on the density of Newcastle disease virus (NDV)

Virology, 1963
Abstract NDV populations behave in cesium chloride density gradients as if they contain infectious particles with a wide range of densities. The density heterogeneity does not appear to be an artifact of techniques employed in the study. Density is not primarily controlled by the viral genome.

[Inhibition of NDV replication by theophylline].

Veterinarno-meditsinski nauki, 1985
Theophylline is said to produce an inhibiting effect on the replication of the Newcastle disease virus in chick embryo fibroblast cultures when used in conc. of 1 mM. When the cultures are treated with theophylline 24 hours prior to their infection or following one-hour adsorption the virus titer is lowered in the process of replication by about 2 lg ...

Studies on the Hemolytic Activity of Newcastle Disease Virus (NDV)

The Journal of Immunology, 1954
Summary The hemolytic activity of NDV, as present in allantoic fluid or suspended in phosphate buffered saline is greatly enhanced by dialysis against various media and by the diluents used in the titrations. It is most pronounced after dialysis against distilled water with subsequent restoration of isotonicity by sodium chloride and ...
