Proximal Planar Cech Nerves. An Approach to Approximating the Shapes of Irregular, Finite, Bounded Planar Regions [PDF]
This article introduces proximal Cech nerves and Cech complexes, restricted to finite, bounded regions $K$ of the Euclidean plane. A Cech nerve is a collection of intersecting balls. A Cech complex is a collection of nerves that cover $K$. Cech nerves are proximal, provided the nerves are close to each other, either spatially or descriptively.

These findings advance tissue repair by offering a multifunctional filler that improves large‐scale volume retention, elasticity, and support for vascularized tissue growth. The decellularized extracellular matrix (dECM)‐based material provides low injection force and minimizes swelling, ensuring sustained volume. Combining CMC with supercritical fluid‐

This study presents a custom‐made soft pneumatic device (SPD) that mimics complex mechanical forces and fluid flow to enhance in vitro cell differentiation. It shows that low mechanotransduction promotes MSC differentiation into osteoprogenitor cells, while high mechanotransduction causes structural disruptions and cell detachment, providing new ...

Advancing Chronic Wound Healing through Electrical Stimulation and Adipose‐Derived Stem Cells
Chronic cutaneous wounds represent significant challenges due to delayed healing and resistance to conventional treatments. This review explores the potential of combining adipose‐derived stem cells with electrical stimulation to enhance wound healing.

Proximal Nerve Complexes. A Computational Topology Approach [PDF]
This article introduces a theory of proximal nerve complexes and nerve spokes, restricted to the triangulation of finite regions in the Euclidean plane. A nerve complex is a collection of filled triangles with a common vertex, covering a finite region of the plane. Structures called $k$-spokes, $k\geq 1$, are a natural extension of nerve complexes.

This study developed a biomimetic scaffold incorporating PDRN and melatonin to restore ovarian function in chemotherapy‐induced premature ovarian insufficiency, enhancing cell survival, folliculogenesis, and hormone normalization, while improving fertility rates and offspring in a mouse model, offering a promising strategy for ovarian function ...

A causal examination of the correlation between hormonal and reproductive factors and low back pain
BackgroundThe relationship between hormonal fluctuations in the reproductive system and the occurrence of low back pain (LBP) has been widely observed. However, the causal impact of specific variables that may be indicative of hormonal and reproductive ...

Nerve injury is often associated with limited axonal regeneration and thus leads to delayed or incomplete axonal reinnervation. As a consequence of slow nerve regeneration, target muscle function is often insufficient and leads to a lifelong burden ...

Rotator cuff tears, a common musculotendinous injury, often lead to permanent functional disability. A novel hyaluronic acid‐based hydrogel shows promise in promoting muscle regeneration after rotator cuff repair. The hydrogel reduces fibrosis, fatty infiltration, and muscle atrophy while supporting vascularization in a murine model.
