Neurokinin‐1 receptor activation protects against cardiac fibrosis, inflammation and diastolic dysfunction in type 2 diabetic mice

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology, Volume 183, Issue 15, Page 4246-4266, August 2026.
Background and Purpose The pathogenesis of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM)‐induced cardiomyopathy involves cardiac fibrosis that leads to diastolic dysfunction. We established that replacement of lost substance P (SP) that occurs in T2DM reduces cardiac fibrosis and decreases inflammation in T2DM mice and non‐human primates.

Pathophysiological and Molecular Features of DXd ADC‐Related Interstitial Pneumonitis in Cynomolgus Monkeys

open access: yesCancer Science, Volume 117, Issue 8, Page 2305-2316, August 2026.
An interstitial lung disease model for DXd antibody‐drug conjugates was established in cynomolgus monkeys by weekly dosing of a non‐targeting DXd ADC. Integrated analysis of bronchoalveolar lavage fluid–derived extracellular vesicle proteomics and lung single‐cell RNA sequencing reveals cell‐type‐resolved molecular features of DXd ADC‐related lung ...

Application of Systems Genetics to Investigate Molecular Pathology of Early‐Onset Colorectal Cancer

open access: yesChemical Biology &Drug Design, Volume 108, Issue 2, August 2026.
Early‐onset colorectal cancer (EOCRC) presents a complex molecular landscape that requires integrated multi‐omics approaches. This article reviews current applications of systems genetics in EOCRC research and provides a step‐by‐step protocol for network‐based analyses featuring PIK3CA to demonstrate practical application for researchers of all levels.

Bone Marrow Pathology in Cold Agglutinin‐Mediated Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia: A Study of 56 Cases

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Haematology, Volume 117, Issue 2, Page 384-395, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Cold agglutinin disease (CAD) is a rare form of autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA). CAD occurs in the context of a small clonal B‐cell lymphoproliferation restricted to blood and/or bone marrow (BM), without overt or extramedullary lymphoma. The WHO‐HAEM5 introduced a description of the CAD‐associated lymphoproliferative disorder (CAD‐LPD) in ...

The Significance of the Regulation Between tRF‐31‐U5YKFN8DYDZDD and BMPER in the Pathogenesis of Gastric Cancer (GC)

open access: yesJournal of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, Volume 30, Issue 16, August 2026.
ABSTRACT tsRNAs are a kind of small non‐coding single‐stranded RNA, which play an important role in many kinds of tumours. Previous studies have identified that tRF‐31‐U5YKFN8DYDZDD can be used as a novel tumour biomarker for the diagnosis and prognosis of gastric cancer (GC).
