Board Gender Diversity and Environmental Credit Risk in Banking: A Global Study of Bank Governance

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study investigates the relationship between board gender diversity and environmental credit risk in the global banking sector. Using a panel dataset of 345 publicly listed banks from 75 countries over the period 2018–2022, we find that greater female representation on bank boards is significantly associated with lower environmental credit

Climate Change Risk and Financial Stability: Implications for European Banking Institutions

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study examines whether climate change risk weakens banking‐system stability in the European Union and assesses how renewable energy adoption and energy‐related taxation moderate this relationship. Inflammatory Cytokine Tumor Necrosis Factor-α Enhances Nerve Growth Factor Production in Human Keratinocytes, HaCaT Cells

open access: yesJournal of Pharmacological Sciences, 2009
The skin lesions of inflammatory skin diseases (e.g., atopic dermatitis or psoriasis) accompany infiltration of inflammatory cells like macrophages, where abnormal sensory innervations and elevation of nerve growth factor (NGF) level are observed.

Combinatorial expression of glial transcription factors induces Schwann cell‐specific gene expression in mouse embryonic fibroblasts

open access: yesDevelopmental Dynamics, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Schwann cells provide peripheral nerve trophic support, myelinate axons, and assist in repair. However, Schwann cell repair capacity is limited by chronic injury, disease, and aging. Schwann cell reprogramming is a cellular conversion strategy that could provide a renewable cell supply to repair injured nerves.
