Retrograde tracing of breast cancer‐associated sensory neurons

open access: yesJournal of Microscopy, Volume 298, Issue 2, Page 232-244, May 2025.
Abstract Breast cancer is one of the leading causes of mortality among women. The tumour microenvironment, consisting of host cells and extracellular matrix, has been increasingly studied for its interplay with cancer cells, and the resulting effect on tumour progression.

TWEAK regulates the functions of hair follicle stem cells via the Fn14‐Wnt/β‐catenin‐CXCR4 signalling axis

open access: yesWound Repair and Regeneration, Volume 33, Issue 3, May/June 2025.
Abstract Hair follicle stem cells (HFSCs) are crucial for maintaining cutaneous functions under various pathological conditions, including wounds. Tumour necrosis factor‐like weak inducer of apoptosis (TWEAK) interacts with its receptor, fibroblast growth factor‐inducible 14 (Fn14), and plays a role in the development and tissue repair of skin diseases.
