Multi‐Target‐Directed Ligands (MTDLs) as Potential Therapeutic Candidates Targeting Multiple Pathogenic Factor of Alzheimer's Disease

open access: yesCNS Neuroscience &Therapeutics, Volume 32, Issue 5, May 2026.
Multi‐target‐directed ligands (MTDLs) offer a promising strategy for Alzheimer's disease by simultaneously modulating amyloid‐β, tau pathology, neuroinflammation, and oxidative stress. This review highlights representative MTDL candidates and their therapeutic potential in addressing the multifactorial nature of AD.

Proximity Labelling Reveals the Compartmental Proteome of Murine Sensory Neurons

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Pain, Volume 30, Issue 5, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Introduction Understanding the molecular architecture of peripheral sensory neurons is critical as we pursue novel drug targets against pain and neuropathy. Sensory neurons in the dorsal root ganglion (DRG) show extensive compartmentalization; thus, understanding each compartment—from the peripheral to central terminals—is key to this effort ...

Factors Contributing to Variability in Longitudinal Pain Scores in Osteoarthritis Randomised Clinical Trials: A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Pain, Volume 30, Issue 5, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Background and Objectives Osteoarthritis is a prevalent joint disease causing pain and functional decline, but high variability in patient‐reported treatment outcomes in clinical trials challenges detection of treatment effects. This systematic review aimed to evaluate variability in pain reporting and identify trial characteristics, placebo ...
