A self‐healable polymer matrix, crosslinked via dynamic imine bonds, is synergistically coupled with a LiPF6–LiDFOB dual‐salt system to decouple Li+ from the polymer matrix, enabling fast Li+ transport. This strategy offers an effective pathway toward high‐performance, next‐generation gel‐polymer‐based Li‐metal batteries.

Arable soils significantly contribute to atmosphere pollution through N2O emissions due to the massive use of N-based fertilizers and soil managements. N2O formation in the soil occurs mainly through nitrification and denitrification processes, which are

Nitrification in the Schelde estuary: methodological aspects and factors influencing its activity [PDF]
We present a 15-month dataset on nitrification measurements in the Schelde estuary (Belgium and The Netherlands). Nitrification was estimated using the N-serve sensitive dark 14C-bicarbonate incorporation technique.

Ammonia volatilization with swine slurry injection and use of nitrification inhibitor
The injection of nitrogen sources into the soil and use of nitrification inhibitor can improve the efficiency of applied nitrogen and minimize losses to the environment. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of swine slurry (SS) and urea

The Effect of Hydrophilic Headgroup Chemistry on Peptoid‐Directed Mineralization of CaCO3
Amphiphilic peptoids alter the pathway and outcome of calcium carbonate crystallization, which progresses through amorphous calcium carbonate (ACC) to vaterite to calcite rhombs in the absence of peptoids. In contrast, amine‐terminated peptoids produce vaterite disks and carboxyl‐terminated peptoids produce calcite mesocrystals.

Trinuclear iron oxo‐bridged catalytic ensembles stabilized by aspartic‐acid‐derived carbon dots provide an effective platform for alkaline oxygen evolution. Mixed‐valence charge balancing, inner‐sphere charge transport, and work‐function alignment within the N/O‐rich carbon framework promote cooperative Fe‐site chemistry and efficient OER ...

Effects of Antibacterial Agents on Nitrification in an Aquatic Recirculating System
Treatment of recirculating systems with a single dose of erythromycin (50 mg/liter) resulted in nitrate reduction and stopped nitrification for 14 days as evidenced by changes in pH and ammonia, nitrite and nitrate concentrations.

Endosomal Escape of siRNA Polyplexes: A Molecular Dynamics Perspective on Underlying Mechanisms
Molecular dynamics simulations reveal distinct endosomal escape mechanisms of siRNA nanoparticles, ranging from electrostatic membrane attachment to hydrophobic membrane fusion. Hydrophobic residues and anionic endosomal lipids emerge as key determinants of membrane disruption, linking molecular interactions to experimental delivery performance and ...
