Insights Into the Role of Lysine Acetylation of Non‐Histone Proteins in Plant Immunity
ABSTRACT Plant immunity is regulated by numerous transcriptional and posttranslational mechanisms. Among these, lysine acetylation, which is controlled by lysine acetyltransferases (KATs) and lysine deacetylases (KDACs), has been extensively studied, particularly in the context of epigenetic regulation through histone acetylation.

ABSTRACT Plant viruses cause significant crop losses, a situation that could worsen due to anthropogenic activities driving global climate change, one factor of which is the increase in atmospheric CO2 concentration. This study assessed the impact of elevated CO2 concentration (eCO2, 1000 vs. 400 ppm) on two genotypes of common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris

ABSTRACT Cell wall–degrading enzymes are viewed as extracellular virulence factors. However, their potential to act as immune elicitors and interact with intracellular immune receptors remains poorly defined. Here, we demonstrate that six conserved glycoside hydrolase 7 (GH7) family proteins from the fungal pathogen Verticillium dahliae have dual roles

Histiocytes: Multifaceted Regulators of Health and Disease
ABSTRACT The mononuclear phagocyte system encompasses macrophages, dendritic cells (DCs), and monocytes. Tissue‐resident macrophages and dendritic cells arise during embryogenesis and are replenished either through self‐renewal or by monocytes during inflammation.

Biochemical exploration of EDS1 family proteins and their interaction with helper-NLRs
EDS1 family members are important immune hubs which influence many aspects of plant defense. In Arabidopsis, there are three EDS1 proteins: EDS1, SAG101, and PAD4. In unchallenged plants EDS1 is forming heterodimers with SAG101 and PAD4, respectively, and both heterodimers are important for TNL-mediated immune responses.
