ADORA2A activation suppresses NFκB‐dependent CCL5 production in cNK cells during chronic HBV infection, disrupting intrahepatic DC recruitment and HBV‐specific CD8+ T‐cell differentiation and function. Targeting the ADORA2A/NFκB/CCL5 axis restores antiviral immunity and facilitates HBV clearance.

Boiling Histrotripsy (BH), a mechanical form of focused ultrasound (FUS), allows for non‐invasive and non‐ionizing tissue destruction. Utilizing a BH treatment protocol that yielded bifurcating primary tumor growth responses, we found that immediate BH‐induced tumor growth control identifies tumors with acute reductions in antigen‐presenting cells (APC)

PRRSV vaccine‐mediated protection is associated with clonally expanded cytotoxic CD8+ T cell subsets driven by viral structural proteins and supported by innate TLR4/TLR8 signaling and CD4+ T cell help, whereas non‐protective responses are characterized by dysfunctional exhausted‐like CD8+ T cells linked to poor viral control.

The Role of Different Monocyte Subsets in Progression of Coronary Atherosclerotic Lesion
Background and purpose: Circulating monocytes are divided into different subpopulations according to the expression of CD14 and CD16. In this study, we investigated the correlation between the severity of coronary artery disease (CAD) and the frequency ...

Сhanges of the functional phenotype of circulating monocytes during pregnancy
Rearrangement of the immune system during pregnancy is a strictly controlled, dynamic process in which the first and third trimesters are, respectively, pro-inflammatory, and anti-inflammatory periods.

A Novel, Five-Marker Alternative to CD16–CD14 Gating to Identify the Three Human Monocyte Subsets
Human primary monocytes are heterogeneous in terms of phenotype and function, but are sub-divided only based on CD16 and CD14 expression. CD16 expression distinguishes a subset of monocytes with highly pro-inflammatory properties from non-CD16 expressing

Monocytes/macrophages express CCR9 in rheumatoid arthritis and CCL25 stimulates their differentiation [PDF]
Introduction: Monocytes/macrophages accumulate in the rheumatoid (RA) synovium where they play a central role in inflammation and joint destruction. Identification of molecules involved in their accumulation and differentiation is important to inform ...

A previously unrecognized IRE1‐XBP1s‐Slc6a4 signaling axis links endoplasmic reticulum stress to serotonin metabolism, autophagy, and inflammatory osteoclastogenesis. By promoting intracellular serotonin uptake and reducing endogenous 3‐methyladenine accumulation, this pathway accelerates inflammatory bone destruction and provides a promising ...
