A Living Multi‐Omics PDX Biobank of High‐Risk Sarcomas Reveals ecDNA‐Driven Oncogene Amplification in Osteosarcoma and Enables Preclinical Precision Oncology

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A living multi‐omics sarcoma PDX biobank is enriched for high‐risk disease and preserves key patient tumor features at histopathological and molecular levels. Integrated profiling reveals ecDNA‐driven oncogene amplification in osteosarcoma and preferential retention of ecDNA during PDX evolution.

Noncoding RNAs Regulating Differentiation and Cancer

open access: yes, 2017
I will present novel long noncoding RNAs that we have identified because of their roles in skeletal muscle differentiation (H19 and MUNC) and in the progression of cancers (DRAIC).

Noncoding RNA in the Transcriptional Landscape of Human Neural Progenitor Cell Differentiation

open access: yesFrontiers in Neuroscience, 2015
Increasing evidence suggests that noncoding RNAs play key roles in cellular processes, particularly in the brain. The present study used RNA sequencing to identify the transcriptional landscape of two human neural progenitor cell lines, SK-N-SH and ...

Noncoding RNAs database (ncRNAdb

open access: yes, 2007
The noncoding RNA database (ncRNAdb) was crea-ted as a source of information on RNA molecules, which do not possess protein-coding capacity. It is now widely accepted that, in addition to constitu-tively expressed, housekeeping or infrastructural RNAs ...

Long Noncoding RNAs: Central to Nervous System Development

open access: yes, 2016
The development of the central nervous system (CNS) is a complex orchestration of stem cells, transcription factors, growth/differentiation factors, and epigenetic control.

Structural Variants in the Human Genome Associated With Gut Microbiome and Blood Metabolic Traits With Potential Causal Links

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Based on a multi‐omics cohort of 2002 individuals comprising high‐depth whole‐genome and metagenomic sequencing data, blood metabolites, and detailed questionnaires, we identified 138 859 high‐confidence SVs, uncovering 36 significant SV–microbiome associations and 48 SV–blood metabolite associations.

Exosomal noncoding RNA: A potential therapy for retinal vascular diseases

open access: yesMolecular Therapy: Nucleic Acids
Exosomes are extracellular vesicles that can contain DNA, RNA, proteins, and metabolites. They are secreted by cells and play a regulatory role in various biological responses by mediating cell-to-cell communication. Moreover, exosomes are of interest in

Metastasis Pattern‐Specific Biomarkers and Therapeutic Targets in Gastric Cancer: From Surgical Specimens to Clinical Translation

open access: yesAnnals of Gastroenterological Surgery, EarlyView.
Gastric cancer metastasis should be considered according to its anatomical route, because lymphatic, peritoneal, and hematogenous dissemination involve partly distinct molecular mechanisms. This review summarizes metastasis pattern‐associated and pattern‐specific molecules identified using surgical specimens, evaluates their evidence and translational ...

The International Consortium for Arthrogryposis: A Collaborative Framework for Early Detection, Care, Research, and Education

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Medical Genetics Part C: Seminars in Medical Genetics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Arthrogryposis multiplex congenita (AMC) is a group of rare congenital conditions, characterized by multiple joint contractures but may involve any body system including central nervous system. AMC is etiologically heterogeneous, with over 400 genetic and many non‐genetic causes implicated in its prenatal development.
