Modeling interfacial dynamics using nonequilibrium thermodynamics frameworks [PDF]
In recent years several nonequilibrium thermodynamic frameworks have been developed capable of describing the dynamics of multiphase systems with complex microstructured interfaces. In this paper we present an overview of these frameworks.

THE THERMODYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF CONDITIONS OF DISSIPATIVE PHASES OCCURRENCE AT INTERACTION OF INTERMETALLIC COMPOUNDS MICROCRYSTALS [PDF]
Conditions of occurrence during diffusion interaction between intermetallic compounds the phases which are absent on the phase equilibrium diagram of binary system is received by methods of nonequilibrium nonlinear thermodynamics.

This article outlines how artificial intelligence could reshape the design of next‐generation transistors as traditional scaling reaches its limits. It discusses emerging roles of machine learning across materials selection, device modeling, and fabrication processes, and highlights hierarchical reinforcement learning as a promising framework for ...

A hybrid quantum‐classical architecture is introduced to accurately identify dynamical quantum phase transitions from time‐evolved quantum states. The QCNN serves as a quantum dynamical feature extractor, while the classical network learns temporal correlations from a low‐dimensional readout sequence. The framework attains high accuracy, remains robust

Sublimation in a Porous Continuum Developed From Nonequilibrium Thermodynamics [PDF]
The case of sublimation dehydration of a porous continuum is analyzed from the viewpoint of nonequilibrium thermodynamics. The general energy and mass transport equations are shown and the application of sublimation is illustrated.

Denaturation of Water in Alkaline Melts
Vapor pressure measurements and ab initio molecular‐dynamics simulations reveal that in ultra‐alkaline media with base concentrations up to 70 mol L−1, the activity of water is dramatically reduced by strong bonding interactions. These disrupt traditional hydrogen bonding patterns, alter vapor‐liquid equilibria, and significantly change molecular ...

Nonequilibrium Third Law of Thermodynamics [PDF]
The extended Third Law of thermodynamics for nonequilibrium jump processes is studied in previous collaborative papers (Kh et al.,2023) [1,2], where the nonequilibrium heat capacity and the excess heat with the corresponding quasipotential are introduced.

Thermodynamics for non-equilibrium pattern formation
The second entropy theory for non-equilibrium thermodynamics is used to show that the optimum structure or pattern of a time-dependent system corresponds to the maximum entropy. A formula for the total entropy of convective heat flow is derived.
