Notch1 intracellular domain suppresses APP intracellular domain—Tip60–Fe65 complex mediated signaling through physical interaction [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
The amyloid beta-precursor protein (APP) and the Notch receptor are both type 1 integral transmembrane proteins, and both are cleaved by presenilin-dependent gamma-secretase activity.

Nitrogen‐Boosted H2O2 Production of Arginine‐Polyphenol Nanozyme Drives Oxidative Eustress for Hair Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
PEA nanoenzymes are assembled from L‐arginine and EGCG. The nitrogen element in arginine enhances the thermodynamic feasibility of H2O2 production through PEA's oxygen reduction catalysis, enabling nitrogen‐dependent H2O2 release. Intradermal delivery of PEA via microneedles promotes efficient H2O2 synthesis, thereby stimulating regrowth in telogen ...

Cellular Identity Crisis: RD3 Loss Fuels Plasticity and Immune Silence in Progressive Neuroblastoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Researchers discovered that therapy‐induced loss of RD3 protein in neuroblastoma triggers a dangerous shift: cancer cells become more stem‐like, invasive, and resistant to treatment while evading immune detection. RD3 loss suppresses antigen presentation and boosts immune checkpoints, creating an immune‐silent environment.

Rosuvastatin Improves Neurite Outgrowth of Cortical Neurons against Oxygen-Glucose Deprivation via Notch1-mediated Mitochondrial Biogenesis and Functional Improvement

open access: yesFrontiers in Cellular Neuroscience, 2018
Neurogenesis, especially neurite outgrowth is an essential element of neuroplasticity after cerebral ischemic injury. Mitochondria may supply ATP to power fundamental developmental processes including neuroplasticity. Although rosuvastatin (RSV) displays

CGRP Enhances the Regeneration of Bone Defects by Regulating Bone Marrow Mesenchymal Stem Cells Through Promoting ANGPTL4 Secretion by Bone Blood Vessels

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Bone angiogenesis is important for bone formation and regeneration after bone injury. Endothelial‐derived angiogenic factors are key signal transducers in the bone microenvironment and maintain vascular–osteogenic coupling during bone regeneration.
