Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) relatedness was used to classify strains of the Legionnaires' disease (LD) bacterium. These DNA comparisons showed that all strains of the LD bacterium were members of the same species. Included were strains isolated from the environment and strains with three different O-antigens.

Automatic Classification of Dwarf Nova
2019Dwarf nova is an abundant subtype of cataclysmic variable star with frequent eruptions. This binary star is a semi-close binary system consisting of a late dwarf secondary star with loch lobes and a White Dwarf host star. Finding more dwarf novae can help us to study the dynamic evolution of the system and many complex physical processes.

Spectroscopic and Photometric Analysis of Novae: A New Classification Method
Publications of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific, 1997This study deals with the relationship between the absolute visual magnitude at maximum and the rate of decline (MMRD or Mv -- t3) for classical novae. Considering the most reliable data including the nebular expansion parallax method for 24 galactic novae, we find that there are two distinct kinds of galactic novae.

Nutritional professional attitudes to NOVA food classification system and terminology
Proceedings of the Nutrition SocietyThe current Australian Guide to Healthy Eating (AGHE) is based on whole foods, distinguishing between core and discretionary foods. Despite poor adherence to the AGHE, there has been limited exploration of the acceptability and appropriateness of alternative food classification systems that could be used for nutrition guidance in Australia.

Object-based land-cover classification of Sable Island, Nova Scotia
2012Sable Island, Nova Scotia is a unique sand dune 283 km southeast of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Home to several species at risk, the Island is held together by wind, currents, and, most importantly, a delicate layer of vegetation. Monitoring the Island's land-cover has been recommended as part of the conservation strategy for Sable Island (Beson, 1998 ...
